Our technology was born from a simple observation: existing safety apps fail precisely when Nigerians need them most—in areas with poor network coverage. That's why we built the world's first mesh networking safety platform that works even when traditional networks don't.

Every feature we build, every line of code we write, is guided by one question: "Will this help someone get home safely?"

Our Story

Haven was founded in 2025 by a team of Nigerians who had personally experienced—or knew someone who had experienced—the terror of being stranded on a Nigerian highway with no way to call for help.

We watched as international safety apps promised protection but failed spectacularly in Nigerian conditions. They assumed constant internet connectivity. They didn't understand our roads, our languages, or our unique security challenges.

"My sister was stuck on Lagos-Ibadan expressway with no network. If she had Haven, we would have known exactly where she was."

So we built something different. We built Haven with Nigeria in mind from day one. Voice activation that understands Pidgin and local languages. Mesh networking that relays SOS signals through other Haven users when there's no internet. Real-time threat intelligence for every Nigerian state and major highway.
